How to request for scanning access, grant access and how to scan tickets?
Organizer of the event has the "Scan" option already by default. More people can be granted access to scan ticket at the event gate. Since this access is sensitive and should be restricted only by the authorized personnel, whoever need to have scan access needs to send a request and organizer needs to approve that access. Please follow the simple few steps below for each area.
How to Request for Scanning Access:
To request for scan access other than the organizer, log in to www.desieventsgo.com either with your email address or with google or Facebook.
Click the “Other Events” button on the left sidebar in Dashboard Panel.
Click the “Details” button on the right side of the specific event from the list events.
Click on the “Request Access” button from the right-side bar.
Note: You have to wait for the organizer to grant the request or contact your organizer to get the access.
How to Grant Access (Organizer):
Log in to www.desieventsgo.com with the same email address used to create the event
At the main screen (Dashboard), it will show Member Awaiting Permission"
Click on the “Review Access Request” and go to the next screen
Select “Registration to Scan” and “Approved” from drop down menu and Save the settings.
How to Scan Tickets (Both organizer or whoever granted access):
Log in to www.desieventsgo.com
Click the “Scanner” button on the left menu toward the top (below dashboard)
Click on the “Start Scan” button, your device will become scanner (Mobile, Tablet, Laptop etc.)
In the next step, scan the QR Code to check-in the ticket.
Note: Ask the ticket purchaser to open the email that contains the QR code with ticket’s information after purchasing the ticket.
After canning the QR Code, it will show check-in after the first time.
If the same code is scanned again, it will show e message "Already checked in" in red - this means, this code is being reused.
