Om Music Academy proudly presents a Virtual Tabla Workshop exclusively for USA students, conducted by the talented artist Chinmay Shastri. This workshop is specially designed for absolute beginners who have always wanted to learn the beautiful art of Tabla but never had the chance to start.
The workshop will be held online via Google Meet on 24th May 2026. The registration fee is just $10 and all participants will receive a Participation Certificate upon attending the session.
No experience is needed to join. You will learn the basics of Tabla, including its history, how to hold and play it correctly, and simple beginner rhythms. Even if you do not own a Tabla, do not worry — you are welcome to come along, observe the full session, and begin your learning journey.
